My piano lessons are structured to appeal to all learners. An Early Prep Piano Series is used which is visually appeal to very young musicians. Children approaching their 6th birthday are usually ready to begin piano lessons.
Why Learn Music?
Many studies have proven that music and math are related. Children learn to count rhythms and recognize melodic shapes. Performing music requires children to focus and repeat patterns as they practice. Reading the musical staff develops thinking skills in young learners.

Children love to play their "air guitars". It's not that much of a stretch to place a real guitar or ukulele in their hands. Learning a guitar develops coordination between mind and fingers. Children will learn to play simple chords, read treble clef notes and will be gradually introduced to the music written in tablature.
